Concordia Runtime

A governed computational environment for continuing scientific investigation.

Currently in Alpha Testing · Closed beta targeted for Q2 2027

Connecting registered scientific Worlds, persistent research inhabitants, replaceable cognitive tools and inspectable evidence.

Purpose

Scientific research that can continue

Concordia Runtime supports sustained research across questions, revisions, changing source material and computational sessions. Its architecture distinguishes a research participant's continuing identity from any particular model invocation or conversation.

Registered Worlds provide identifiable research objects. A persistent inhabitant can participate in a World under the relevant permissions, inspect evidence, engage computational tools and retain the provenance and history of the work.

Models contribute reasoning and expression as replaceable cognitive processes. They do not own the scientific record or confer authority on their own output. Concordia governs evidence, authorization, resource use, durable memory and consequential actions.

Research process

From question to retained result

01

Inquiry

A scholarly question or authorized research objective defines the work.

02

Worlds

Registered formal and source objects provide typed identities and versioned context.

03

Participation

The inhabitant works through permitted cognitive and computational faculties.

04

Evidence

Source inspection, calculations and formal checks retain scope, coverage and receipts.

05

Continuity

Findings, unresolved questions and research history remain identifiable for later work.

This illustration describes the architecture; it does not imply that every inquiry yields a theorem or that every capability is available to external participants.

Research architecture

Worlds, inhabitants and continuity

Registered Worlds

Formal World indexes mathematical modules, declarations and relations. Source World contains versioned repositories, files, source ranges and diffs. The World Navigator supports bounded inspection, typed traversal and explicit coverage of the sources examined.

Durable residence

An inhabitant's authorized relationship to a World can persist without active cognition, a conversation or an executing inquiry. Participation and operations are separately governed. Changed Worlds require reconciliation rather than rewriting previous observations.

Governed memory

Conversation history, proposed lessons, retained evidence and admitted developmental memory are distinct. An interesting model answer is not automatically made into authoritative or durable knowledge; admission requires its own authorized process.

Operator environment

Concordia Workbench

The native macOS Workbench is a human interface to the persistent Runtime. It supports governed dialogue, research Missions, World navigation, evidence inspection, resource oversight, health, operator controls and audit/replay.

Runtime retains ownership of the state and rules governing those activities. The interface presents verified projections and submits authorized actions; it does not independently create scientific evidence or change authority.

Scholarly and professional participation

Research collaboration by arrangement

Concordia provides a framework for examining scientific evidence and pursuing continuing research. Any external participation is scoped to the actual technical deployment, authorized materials and the applicable research agreement.

Scholarly examination

Review a paper's provenance, mathematical hypotheses, selected formal statements, computational records or source-specific verification evidence by arrangement.

Joint investigation

Pursue a defined scientific problem with source-aware inquiry, retained questions, explicit obstructions and distinguishable evidentiary outcomes.

Institutional collaboration

Structure research around agreed objectives, governance, confidentiality, relevant corpus access, resources, authorship, publication and intellectual property.

Qualification and scope

Implemented infrastructure, continuing development

Concordia Runtime includes implemented internal persistence, research Worlds, cognitive-provider governance, source navigation, formal inquiry and Workbench interfaces. A first persistent inhabitant's Formal World residence received a separately authorized live adoption in October 2026; subsequent conversational-grounding work has passed Development checks, with live cognitive behavior and production qualification remaining separately assessed.

The original inhabitant was instantiated for a particular Fieldflux Biosystems research mandate. Its lineage is distinct from the ILC-owned institutional corpus and is not a universal template for external collaborators.
